Hello.
I’m a functional-fluid design leader. I work with smart, nice, passionate people to accomplish mighty things.
-
I’ve always thrived in roles where I get to work with different departments — whether it’s design, marketing, product, or engineering. I love pulling everyone together and aligning them toward one clear vision. At Pinterest and Honor Education, I led cross-functional teams, making sure everyone brought their best ideas forward to hit both creative and business goals.

I’ve had the chance to lead bilingual teams all over the world — across the US, Europe, and Mexico — working with companies in education, tech, and finance. Bringing people together to create work that resonates globally while keeping things consistent is my specialty. It’s all about embracing different cultures and ideas to deliver impactful work.

In and outside of products, I build design systems that stick. At Pinterest and Honor Education, we built systems for brand and product design, ensuring everything was cohesive across the board. For me, it’s about creating frameworks that last, so teams can keep creating, scaling, and delivering great work.
These days most of my day is spent strategizing, scaling design systems, and working deeply cross functionally with executive shareholders. My favorite part of the day is critique, when the designers and I get to bounce half-baked ideas off of each other, and build new, stronger things together. I thrive in multi-disciplinary teams, because diverse thinking is my petri dish for breakthroughs.
I’ve worked with many kinds of companies, in house and agency, big and small, highbrow and lowbrow. I love working with a lot of different kinds of people because I get to learn about a lot of different worlds.
These days I work at Honor Education, where we’re reimagining the future of higher education. We’re inspiring instructors to reimagine their curriculum and engaging students as co-creators of their own educational experience.
In New York I worked at Pentagram with Michael Bierut, and we teamed up with really fun companies like Harley Davidson, Saks Fifth Avenue, and New York University Abu Dhabi.
In San Francisco I worked in-house at Pinterest where I led a super talented group of designers, production designers, producers, and videographers do awesome things.
I’m also an educator. At Parsons in New York, I taught professional practice to seniors and at my alma mater CCA in San Francisco I taught design systems to juniors.
I grew up in a mountain town in Oregon and spent my summers working as a river guide on the Rogue River. Since then I’ve lived in a dozen cities and three countries and now spend most of my time in Baja California.
